Marilla Kiwanis Collecting Socks for Troops and Veterans

The Kiwanis Club of Marilla is once again participating in the Alden "Thanks-a-Lot Troops" collection of socks for Service Members and Veterans. The collecting dates are during the Town of Marilla Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11th, 11 a.m., at the Veteran’s Pavilion Park, Bullis and Two Rod Road - the new picnic shelter for the collecting.

Also, the club will have a collection box upstairs at Marilla Town Hall from November 4th to 6th and November 10th, 12th and 13th.

The NEW, ADULT socks can be of any size and color, male or female and will be delivered by the Marilla Kiwanians to "Thanks-a-Lot Troops" organizers who will then distribute the socks to deployed Troops and Veterans in the VA Hospitals. Thank you to all donors. Apples will also be given away to all attendees.
