Elsewhere: East Aurora Board Agenda Sets Up Dec. 7 Hearing on 25 mph Speed Limit

The East Aurora Village Board’s agenda for its Monday, Nov. 2, meeting, posted by the Southtowns Record, lists a resolution to set a Dec. 7 public hearing on lowering the general village speed limit to 25 mph.

The agenda also includes a letter supporting the town of Aurora’s request for an Erie County speed study aimed at slowing traffic entering the village on Pine Street, and a reply turning down an all-way stop at Pine and Girard streets.

The posted document is the agenda, not a record of the votes. Other items include a Dec. 7 hearing on the village’s water backflow law and a Dec. 8 menorah lighting permit.
