Public safety

From the Chief’s Desk

The Alden Fire Department responded to 53 calls for service this month, including 42 medical calls. Our remaining calls included fire incidents, hazardous situations, and public service calls.

I want to thank our members for their continued dedication. As volunteers, they balance work, family, and personal commitments while remaining ready to respond when our community needs them.

We need more volunteers. Like many departments, we depend on community members willing to step up and help their neighbors. You do not need previous firefighting experience to get started. Training is provided, and there are opportunities to learn and become part of the team.

If you have ever considered volunteering, I encourage you to reach out to the Alden Fire Department. Our community depends on its volunteers, and we need your help to continue serving Alden.

Stay safe,

Fire Chief Bryce Gossel
Alden Fire Department
